French Weir Park
French Weir Park is a small community park, covering 2.4 hectares, and is situated alongside the River Tone in Taunton. As a neighbourhood park it provides a place for passive recreation, children's play and acts as an attractive through route between residential areas, shops, schools and colleges.
The park is roughly triangular: the western and southern boundaries are formed by the River Tone, with the Weir itself lying at the south-western corner of the site and the eastern boundary with residential properties.
